C31 relies on dedicated volunteers for the weekly production of our many programs. Volunteering is a great way to learn more about television production and get important hands on experience. C31’s Programs engage volunteers in many crew positions, including camera operators, editors, journalists and writers, presenters, directors, vision switchers, audio operators, make-up artists, publicists and designers.
If you would like to offer your services as community television volunteer, you should contact one of our programs directly to see if there are any crew openings. The contact details for each C31 program are available under 'Our Shows'.
Program Groups are not-for-profit community television production groups, usually producing several weekly programs for C31. Program groups are drawn from geographical, cultural or diverse special interest communities. To volunteer with a Program Group, you should become a member of that group. The contact details for C31 Program Groups are available under "Join Us".
